Appearance.

Hair: Black, curly and pulled back in a ponytail or pigtails. Sometimes braided.
Eyes: A striking pink, with white pupils.
Height: 4 fulms, 11 ilms.
Build: Petite and stocky with powerful legs and core. Built like a dancer.Shuu tends to adorn herself in colorful clothing, things that are practical, easy to move around in and breathable. Unless the situation explicitly doesn't call for it, she usually wears an excessive amount of baubles, harnesses and other forms of jewelry, wrapped around her tail or draped around her shoulders or horns.

Personality.

Bubbly and friendly, she is ever at work being a helpful, kindly person. She's quick to trust, despite being burned in the past for it and holds that every person has the potential for good. She chooses to see that good in everyone and loves paying good deeds forward.Most people who come to know her will get a taste of her warm and caring demeanor be they stranger or kin. Confident in her physical abilities as a skilled dancer and fighter, she carries herself tall and is often stubborn to a fault--especially when the well-being of her friends and family are in the balance.She's a loyal friend and prides herself for it, even if some would see her worldview as a touch naive.

History.

Shuu spent most of her childhood in Thavnair, her large family of Qestiri traders being one of the only Xaela tribes to emigrate in from the Azim Steppe for mercantile reasons.She's the second eldest child of 11, being only a couple of years behind her older sister. As a young child, she shouldered some responsibility for their younger siblings and helping keep the household running smoothly during her parents' extended absences, though her tendency to daydream coupled with her huge imagination sometimes found her otherwise occupied.At the age of 8, she discovered she possessed the Echo, which in turn manifested into a sensitivity to the souls and thoughts of those around her. Around that time, she developed a fondness for all manners of beast, great or small, and in time, learned to harness her abilities to communicate with them.Her decision to leave home and embrace the adventuring life wasn't an easy one, but one that she made all the same; she still keeps in contact with her family, and is oftentimes found accompanying her older sister in between chapters of her worldly exploits.

HOOKS

"Hear. Feel. Think." Shuu is blessed with the power of the Echo. She's sensitive to the whispers of anyone with a soul and can likely detect others with a similar blessing or those possessed of corrupted aether.

"I tamed that...!" Every beast/animal mount or minion Shuu has was rescued and sometimes even hand-raised by herself. She doesn't treat them like pets or objects, and views them as her companions on the road. If you see her riding a wolf or feeding a baby behemoth, feel free to strike up a conversation about it with her! She's always happy to talk about her dearest friends.

"Adventure awaits...!" Shuu is an adventurer! She's out there making a name for herself and has traveled to many different locations in Eorzea (and Aldenard as a whole) as well as Ilsabard and of course, her native Othard.Maybe she's done something to help you before. Or perhaps you're in need of a friendly helping hand?

"Odd one out." Shuu is awfully talkative for a member of the Qestir tribe. In fact, she's far more articulate than many of her kinfolk in the Azim Steppe and rarely wears a mask. A combination of her Echo and unique upbringing outside the Steppe makes for one truly odd Qestir. Those familiar with her tribe or other Xaela hailing from the Steppe would likely find her very odd indeed.
